The Passover barbecue party is a popular tradition during the holiday of Passover, but it has roots in an ancient ritual known as the Korban Pesach, or the Passover sacrifice. In the days of the Temple, Jewish families would bring a lamb or goat to the Temple in Jerusalem to be sacrificed as a part of the Passover observance.

The seder will be led by a knowledgeable and experienced leader, who will guide guests through the traditional seder ceremony.

Passover, or Pesach in Hebrew, is one of the most widely celebrated holidays in Israel. As the country prepares for the week-long holiday, families and communities are getting ready to mark the occasion in a variety of ways. One of the most significant traditions during Passover in Israel is the practice of cleaning and preparing for the holiday, known as "spring cleaning." This includes removing all leavened products, or chametz, from the home and replacing them with unleavened bread, or matzah. The streets and markets in Israel are filled with shoppers stocking up on matzah, wine, and other Passover essentials.

In addition to preparing the home, many Israelis also take part in the seder, a festive meal that takes place on the first two nights of Passover. The seder is a time for families to come together, retell the story of the Exodus from Egypt, and share a meal that includes traditional Passover dishes like matzah ball soup, gefilte fish, and brisket. Throughout the holiday, Israelis also participate in a variety of cultural and religious events, including music concerts, Passover fairs, and religious ceremonies at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
